The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) runs a full academic program through its Office of Academic Affairs. Four colleges, a library, continuing education, study abroad, and courses at multiple Houston-area sites all fall under one roof. Whether you are working toward a degree, brushing up on job skills, or exploring an international experience, UHD has a path for you.
UHD offers four degree-granting colleges: the Marilyn Davies College of Business, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the College of Sciences and Technology, and the College of Public Service. Beyond degrees, the W. I. Dykes Library (on the fourth and fifth floors of the historic One Main Building) gives students access to books, journals, audiovisual materials, and borrowing privileges at other University of Houston System campuses. The Office of Study Abroad oversees international programs and scholarship support. The Division of Continuing Education focuses on career development and includes an Applied Business and Technology Center and a Criminal Justice Training Center. Off-campus courses run at three Lone Star College locations: University Park, CyFair, and Kingwood.
