Finnigan Park is a free Houston greenspace with baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts, a pool, and the Youth Education Town (YET) Center. It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The park honors Annette Finnigan, who donated the land so Black Houstonians would have a place to gather, play, and grow.
You will find baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a pool. The Finnigan Community Center and the YET (Youth Education Town) Center offer educational, social, and recreational programs. The park was created through a partnership among Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis's office, the City of Houston, and HISD (Houston Independent School District).
