The VISIBLE Act (H.R. 4667) is a federal bill introduced July 23, 2025, by Rep. Vicente Gonzalez of Texas. It would require immigration enforcement officers — including DHS staff, federal agents, and deputized local officers — to wear clearly visible ID showing their agency and name or badge number. It also bans non-medical face coverings that hide identity during enforcement. A Senate companion bill, S. 2212, was introduced July 8, 2025.
