The Texas House of Representatives posts its official legislative calendars online. These calendars show which bills and resolutions are scheduled for a vote by the full House. Knowing what's on the calendar helps you stay ahead of decisions that could affect your neighborhood, your business, or your family.
The Texas House uses four main calendars. The Daily House Calendar lists new bills and resolutions set for consideration that day. The Supplemental House Calendar catches bills that were postponed, not reached, or carried over from a previous day. The Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar covers local or noncontroversial bills. The Congratulatory and Memorial Calendar lists resolutions honoring people or events. Near the end of a regular legislative session, a separate list called the List of Items Eligible for Consideration is also prepared. It covers House bills with Senate changes, Senate bills needing a conference committee, and conference committee reports ready for a vote.
Visit the Texas House Legislative Calendars index to look up calendars by a specific date, upcoming dates, or by legislative session. Check the Daily House Calendar first — it tells you what's scheduled for that day. If a bill you're watching didn't come up, look at the Supplemental Calendar next. Use the session search to review past calendars or track how a bill moved through the process. If you want to contact your Texas House representative, knowing the bill's calendar date gives you the right moment to reach out.

Texas House calendars connect directly to committee activity — a bill has to pass through a committee before it can be placed on a House calendar. You can pair this resource with the Texas Legislature Online bill-tracking tool to follow a bill from introduction all the way to a floor vote.
Bills can move fast at the Texas Capitol. One day a measure isn't scheduled — the next day it's up for a vote. Checking the House calendars regularly means you won't miss action on issues you care about. It also helps you know exactly when to call your representative.
