Tom Bass Regional Park is one of south Houston's most versatile green spaces. Spread across three sections, it offers golf, fishing, an NFL challenge course, pavilion rentals, and open parkland for everyday fun — all at no cost to enter.
The park is divided into three sections, each with its own mix of amenities. You can tee off on the golf course, cast a line while fishing, test your skills on the NFL challenge course, or reserve a pavilion for a group gathering. The Tom Bass Community Center offers additional facilities and programs nearby.
Pick the section that matches what you want to do, then check the hours for that section before you head out. If you want a pavilion for a birthday, reunion, or community event, call 346-286-1805 to make a reservation. Bring a grill-friendly mindset — open fires aren't allowed, but designated grills and camp stoves are fine. Keep pets leashed, pack out your trash, and leave glass containers at home so everyone can enjoy the space.
Sections 1 and 3 are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. from March through October, and 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. from November through February. Section 2 and the R/C Airfield are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. year-round.
Tom Bass Regional Park sits in south Houston across three locations: 3452 Fellows Rd, 3902 Fellows Rd, and 15108 Cullen Blvd — all in Houston, TX 77047.
