September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Harris County Public Health (HCPH) is urging men to learn about their prostate cancer risk and talk with a doctor about screening. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in U.S. men besides skin cancer. When found early, the five-year survival rate is over 99%. HCPH offers free prostate cancer screening at its clinics and through mobile health events across Harris County.
