Harris County Precinct 1 — the office of Commissioner Rodney Ellis — has teams dedicated to your neighborhood, your roads, your budget, and your quality of life. This directory introduces each team and the people behind it, so you always know exactly who to contact.
The Office of Commissioner Rodney Ellis runs nine teams: Executive Leadership, Commissioner's Engagement, Budget and Finance, Communications, Community Affairs and Advocacy, Development and Infrastructure, Policy, Programs, and Shared Services. Each team has a clear focus. Community Affairs coordinators show up in your neighborhood and connect residents to local organizations. Development and Infrastructure handles roads, bridges, and parks. The Programs Team runs activities for kids, seniors, and everyone in between. The Policy Team brings new proposals to Commissioners Court — the governing body that sets county-wide policy — to improve life across Harris County.
