Good first step: Act Visit or call Cavalcade Community Center to reserve a room or use free services
Say: 'Hi, I am a Precinct One resident and I would like to learn about your programs and how to reserve a meeting room.' Address: 3815 Cavalcade, Houston, TX 77026
The Cavalcade Community Center — also known as the Kashmere Annex — is a free neighborhood hub at 3815 Cavalcade in Houston's Precinct One. You can reserve a meeting room, use free computers and Wi-Fi, join fitness and enrichment programs, or bring your teen to a health clinic run by Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). If you live in Precinct One, this place is open to you.
The center offers two reservable meeting rooms (each seats up to 20 people, weekdays only), free computers and Wi-Fi, and a full lineup of exercise classes — including Arthritis Exercise, Chair Exercises, Mat Pilates, Senior Group Fitness Training, Walking Group, Yoga, and Zumba. Enrichment programs include Arts and Crafts, Board Games, Computer Classes, Gardening, Health Seminars, Monthly Field Trips, Special Events, and a Biking Program. The BCM Teen Health Clinic operates on-site Monday through Friday and handles teen health needs; some programs require registration.
Start by checking which programs interest you and whether they need registration — call the center to confirm. If you want to bring a teenager to the health clinic, call BCM directly at 713-673-1655 to schedule an appointment. To book a meeting room, use the reservation link on the center's webpage. Show up with a neighbor — many of the enrichment and fitness programs are more fun with company.
Ongoing — open on weekdays; BCM Teen Health Clinic hours vary by day (Monday 8 a.m.–6:30 p.m., Tuesday–Thursday 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Friday 8 a.m.–12:30 p.m.)

The BCM Teen Health Clinic connects teens to professional medical care close to home. Computer Classes pair well with the free on-site Wi-Fi for residents building digital skills. Meeting rooms support neighborhood groups, civic organizations, and small gatherings that need a local space.
Not every neighborhood has a place where you can get free internet, take a yoga class, let teens see a doctor, and book a meeting room — all in one stop. The Cavalcade Community Center fills that gap for Precinct One residents. It is designed to give everyone access to tools and services that help daily life run a little smoother.
