Anti-ICE Protest Sign Ideas for Community Action

Overview

Our community has powerful tools for peaceful protest. When we join demonstrations against Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions, creative signs help amplify our message across the nation.

Recent protests have shown incredible community strength. The third No Kings protest on March 28, 2026, brought together nearly 9 million people across the U.S. and international cities. Many carried signs that echoed their chants and spread their message wider. "Peaceful, people-led movements have always led the way for real change," says Deirdre Schifeling from the ACLU.

We can choose from many types of signs for our protests. Some focus on general anti-ICE messages like "ICE Out Of Our Streets" and "Abolish ICE." Others celebrate our immigrant neighbors with phrases like "We Are All Neighbors" and "Families Belong Together." We also have options that honor specific victims or add humor to serious topics.

Our signs can range from serious calls for justice to creative messages that build community spirit. Some use wordplay with "ICE" - like signs about preferring crushed ice in drinks rather than enforcement in our neighborhoods. Others remind us that "Migration Is Natural" and "Hate Has No Home Here."

We can use these ideas to prepare for future demonstrations in our area. Whether we choose serious messages or lighter approaches, our signs help show that our community stands together for justice and human dignity.
