Volunteers of America Texas is a faith-based human-services nonprofit serving more than 11,000 people each year across 30+ Texas communities, with services spanning substance-use treatment, reentry, veterans assistance, affordable housing, and disability services.
Veterans Assistance provides rapid re-housing and homeless prevention for homeless or at-risk veterans and their families, plus linkages to supportive services. It is offered by Volunteers of America Texas, a United Way of Greater Houston partner organization.
