If you or someone you care about is an adult with a disability and ready to build real work skills, this program offers hands-on training, a structured routine, and an actual paycheck. There is no waiting list right now, so it is a good time to reach out.
Participants — called employees — learn vocational and life skills alongside peers in a group environment. Goals are personalized for each person. Everyone earns Texas minimum wage for the hours they work. Financial help is available through Medicaid Waiver Funds (a state funding source for people with disabilities), scholarships, and a sliding-scale fee based on the number of days attended. Transportation to and from the program may also be available for an extra fee, depending on bus route availability.
