Finding affirming care and community in a big city can feel overwhelming. The Montrose Center puts licensed counselors, senior support, youth programs, and community gathering space all under one roof — and has done so for more than 45 years.
Four main areas of service are available. Behavioral health care connects you with state-licensed clinicians for counseling and mental health support. Senior services include the Law Harrington Senior Living Center and the SPRY program, which stands for Services and Programs Reaching You, designed for older LGBTQ adults. Hatch Youth offers a safe, affirming space for young LGBTQ people. And the community center itself provides affordable rental space for LGBTQ-affirming organizations, social groups, and civic gatherings.
