Staying Well
Mental Health America of Greater Houston offers free, anonymous online mental health screenings that cover depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more. Results are confidential and provide clear next steps, including information about local resources, referrals to care, and guidance on talking with a professional. Our community grows stronger when we learn together and share knowledge across neighborhoods.
Mental Health America of Greater Houston offers free services to help people find the support they need. They run a program called Care Connect that works like a helpful guide for your mental health journey. You can search for doctors and counselors right from your home, twenty-four hours a day, without paying anything.
The Care Connect program lets you look for professionals in several ways. You can search by insurance, language, zip code, and more. This makes it easier to find someone who speaks your language, takes your insurance, or is close to where you live.
If you need extra help choosing the right provider, you can call or text the Care Connect Helpline at 281-215-9988. The specialists there will work with you one-on-one to match you with providers that fit your needs. They also share tips on how to talk to doctors about your mental health.
Qualified people may receive up to 6 free sessions with a licensed provider or supervised graduate student. This gives you a chance to get professional help without worrying about cost.
