Harris County Gets $900K to Clear DNA Testing Backlog

Harris County's Institute of Forensic Sciences received a $903,154 federal grant to speed up DNA testing and reduce case backlogs. This funding comes from the US Department of Justice's DNA Capacity Enhancement Program, which helps crime labs across the country process evidence faster.
