Harris County Commissioners Court introduced a financial authorization on August 6, 2026, to allow the use of a Procurement Card, reimbursements, or other county-approved payment types for meals, food, and beverage costs. The approved amount is up to $3,000 for the period of October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.
This authorizes county staff to spend up to $3,000 in public funds on meals, food, and beverages over one fiscal year using a county payment card or reimbursements.
