Harris County Precinct 3 Homeland Security Task Force Overtime Agreement

This is a contract amendment that allows Harris County Precinct 3 Constable's office to receive overtime pay reimbursement for working on federal Homeland Security Task Force investigations. The agreement covers three specific investigations and runs from October 2025 through September 2026. Harris County Commissioners Court approved this amendment on May 14, 2026. The Homeland Security Task Force brings together local and federal law enforcement to investigate serious crimes like terrorism, drug trafficking, and organized crime. When our county deputies work on these federal cases, they often put in extra hours beyond their regular shifts. This agreement ensures our local officers get paid for that overtime work, with federal funds covering the cost instead of county taxpayers.
