UHD Police Department — Campus Safety

The University of Houston-Downtown Police Department works to keep students, faculty, and staff safe on campus. Their goal is to create a place where people feel safe to learn, teach, and do their jobs. Mission: The mission of the University of Houston-Downtown police department is to provide a safe environment where students, faculty, and staff feel safe to learn, safe to teach, and safe to perform their duties as members of the university community. Vision: Our vision is to provide excellent service to the University of Houston-Downtown through dedication and commitment Core Values Integrity: Built upon a foundation of ethical and professional conduct, the UHD Police Department is committed to the highest level of moral principles and ethics. All members of the Department will adhere to the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics. Honesty: We will be truthful and trustworthy at all times. Fairness: We are committed to equal application of the law to offenders and members of the public as well as the equal application of rules and regulations to all members of the Department.
