Texas Children's Pavilion for Women is a Houston facility dedicated to women's health and newborn care. It brings together doctors from many specialties — all under one roof — to care for women at every stage of life and babies from before birth onward. No mother or baby is turned away because of how complex or rare their condition is.
The Pavilion offers a wide range of services: maternity and prenatal care, fertility treatments, mental health support, minimally invasive surgery, genetic counseling, contraceptive management, and a Menopause Center. It also has combined Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs for newborns who need specialized care. A second building, Pavilion Tower II, opened in August 2023 and connects to the original facility by a skybridge. Community clinics are also available in Pearland and The Woodlands, and a maternal-fetal medicine clinic serves patients in Austin.

The Pavilion is part of Texas Children's Hospital and works closely with Baylor College of Medicine. If you are already a Texas Children's patient, your care records can follow you across both buildings and connected clinics. Houston families dealing with high-risk pregnancies, NICU stays, or fertility challenges may find this facility's all-in-one model especially helpful.
Getting care in one place means your doctors talk to each other. Obstetricians (OB doctors), gynecologists, pediatricians, and many specialists work together here. That teamwork can make a real difference — especially for high-risk pregnancies or newborns who need extra support. The Pavilion's neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is ranked second in the nation for neonatology by U.S. News & World Report, and it was the first Level IV NICU in Texas — the highest level of newborn care available.
