Two pathways to become a Presidential Fellow: At-Large (non-partner schools) and Innovation Fellowship (STEM students). Applications close July 1, 2026.

The Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress offers two ways for students to become a Presidential Fellow. The At-Large Program is open to students who do not attend a partner school. The Innovation Fellowship is for students with a STEM background. Applications for the 2026–2027 cohort are open now and close July 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST.

2. Choose the At-Large Program if you do not attend a partner school.
