For over 60 years, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston has brought people of diverse faith traditions together for dialogue, collaboration, and service to the most vulnerable in our community. IM Houston operates Texas's largest Meals on Wheels program (delivering 1.5 million meals annually to 4,300+ homebound seniors), resettles refugees from 40+ countries, coordinates thousands of disaster and community volunteers through Volunteer Houston, and fosters interfaith understanding through dialogue programs, youth leadership, and cultural exchange.

Fifth Ward Multi-Service Center

The Fifth Ward Multi-Service Center is a City of Houston facility serving one of Houston's oldest and most historically significant African American neighborhoods. Located on Market Street, the center provides Fifth Ward residents with direct access to health screenings, public benefits navigation, social services, and community programming. The Third Ward Multi-Service Center is a City of Houston facility on Ennis Street serving one of Houston's most historically and culturally significant African American communities. Third Ward is home to Texas Southern University, Emancipation Park, and a long tradition of Black civic leadership. The MSC connects Third Ward residents to health services, social service referrals, public benefits programs, and city-administered community resources in a neighborhood navigating deep history and ongoing development.
