Central Library is a neighborhood branch of the Houston Public Library system located at 500 McKinney. Hours: Mon 12pm - 6pm, Tue 9am - 6pm, Wed 9am - 6pm, Thu 12pm - 6pm, Fri 9am - 5pm, Sat 10am - 5pm. Phone: 832-393-3011. Services include book lending, digital resources, free computer and internet access, children and teen programs, adult literacy classes, and community meeting rooms. Library cards are available at no cost to all Houston residents.
