Houston approved a $22.5M federally funded trail and bridge linking Uptown Houston to Memorial Park across Loop 610.

"Right now, Loop 610 makes it hard — and dangerous — to get to Memorial Park on foot or by bike from the Uptown area. This project fills that gap with a dedicated, car-free route. It's been on the community's wish list for years, and it's part of Memorial Park's long-range master plan approved back in 2015."
