Green Mountain Energy Earth Day at Discovery Green

Overview

Houstons downtown Earth Day celebration featuring recycled material mask-making workshops, sustainable fashion show by Magpies and Peacocks, UH Downtown student art installation, community art procession with 12-foot puppets, and zero-waste operations. Free and open to the public. Volunteers needed for load-in crew, load-out team, check-in helpers, and lawn game facilitators. Contact earthday@cechouston.org. Presented by Green Mountain Energy, Citizens Environmental Coalition, Houston Public Works, and Discovery Green Conservancy.
