Getting By & Getting Ahead
The Houston Local Government Corporation board meets monthly to review operations, event bookings, and capital improvements for city convention and entertainment facilities. The LGC manages the George R. Brown Convention Center and other public venues that host major events and generate significant economic activity. Meetings are open to the public and cover facility investments and management decisions.
