More than 40 Houston employers want to hire workers right now at Houston Community College's spring job fair. Companies from healthcare, construction, technology, and hospitality came ready to fill open positions on the spot.
Many of these jobs don't require college degrees. Some companies may make job offers the same day to people who qualify. The employers attending need workers now and came prepared to hire, not just collect resumes.
People can also learn about free workforce training programs at the fair. Financial aid counselors will explain how to pay for these programs. Resume help is available for anyone who needs it before talking with employers.
Job seekers should bring multiple copies of their resume and dress ready for interviews. Workers looking for immediate jobs and those exploring career changes will both find opportunities here. The event works best for people who can start work soon and want to speak directly with hiring managers.
Contact Houston Community College directly for the specific date, time, and location of the spring job fair.
