Prevent Blindness Texas is a nonprofit voluntary health agency (established 1956) and affiliate of Prevent Blindness America. It preserves and protects sight for Texas's most vulnerable residents through vision screenings, eye-health and safety education, referrals, and financial assistance, with offices in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.
Vision screenings that detect vision problems in preschool and school-age children, plus the only national program that trains and certifies people to conduct these screenings.
