HAAM (Humble Area Assistance Ministries) is a faith-based interfaith nonprofit founded in 1990 serving northeast Harris and east Montgomery counties, and is the area's largest comprehensive social services agency. It helps residents in financial crisis meet basic needs and move toward self-sufficiency, addressing over 70,000 requests for assistance per year.
Offered by a United Way of Greater Houston partner, this program connects clients to external resources and public benefits, helping them achieve lasting stability by accessing the support they are entitled to.
