Founded in 1974, Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels has for 50+ years addressed senior hunger and isolation in Fort Bend and Waller counties. It serves adults 60+ through home-delivered and congregate meals, recreation, transportation, and social connection, providing 369,611 meals in 2025 to over 2,100 clients.
Offered free by a United Way of Greater Houston partner to adults 60 and older, this program provides daily recreational activities like field trips, arts and crafts, bingo, and exercise, plus nutrition education, computer access, and health screenings at activity centers.
