CollegeCommunityCareer (CCC), founded in 2012, fosters a college-going culture among low-income, first-generation high school students and their families in the greater Houston area. It works with each student for seven years—three years of high school plus four years of college—built on four pillars: College Success, Leadership Development, Civic Engagement, and Career Discovery.
This free eight-week summer program from CollegeCommunityCareer, a United Way of Greater Houston partner, lets enrolled students visit over 20 college campuses, observe a variety of careers firsthand, perform community service, and attend a leadership camp.
