Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star is a youth mentoring nonprofit that creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships pairing screened adult volunteers with children; in Greater Houston it provides community-, school-, and online-based mentoring with professional match support.
This United Way of Greater Houston partner pairs a Big and Little who meet 2-4 times a month at the child's school or an approved partner site, in or around school hours. Free to families of children roughly ages 6-15, with parent involvement in enrollment.
