Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star is a youth mentoring nonprofit that creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships pairing screened adult volunteers with children; in Greater Houston it provides community-, school-, and online-based mentoring with professional match support.
This United Way of Greater Houston partner connects a Big and Little virtually about once a week, with video chats roughly twice a month. Free to families of children roughly ages 6-15; a parent or guardian must participate in enrollment.
