The Mathews Center helps Alabama communities talk through important local issues. They offer three main programs: Alabama Issues Forums where people discuss community problems and find solutions together, Coaching Community Innovation workshops that teach people how to lead these discussions in their own towns, and an Annual Civic Institute conference where hundreds of Alabamians come together to learn and share ideas about making their state better.
