To amend title 49, United States Code, to provide for certain remedies for air transportation passengers with disabilities who are discriminated against, and for other purposes.

H.R. 9373, the Air Carrier Access Amendments Act, was introduced on June 18, 2026, by Representatives Dina Titus and Steve Cohen. It would update the original 1986 Air Carrier Access Act by letting passengers with disabilities sue airlines directly in court. Right now, they can only file a complaint with the Department of Transportation. The bill also targets damaged wheelchairs, poorly trained airline staff, and inaccessible aircraft. It was referred to the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
