Harris County Commissioners Court approved an agreement with San Jacinto Community College District to place horticulture interns at Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. The interlocal agreement was introduced on May 15, 2026, and passed on May 28, 2026. It allows the County Judge to sign the affiliation agreement on behalf of Harris County.
