Harris County Commissioners Court is considering a request to rename an approved CDBG-DR stormwater project. The project was previously called "South Mayde Creek Channel Conveyance Improvements and Stormwater Detention Project." The new proposed name is "Stormwater Detention Basin on South Mayde Creek Grand Parkway - Phase 1 Project." The item was introduced on July 13, 2026.
