Commissioners Court will vote July 9, 2026 on adding two school resource officer positions to Tomball ISD's law enforcement agreement with Constable Precinct 4.
Harris County Commissioners Court will vote on July 9, 2026 on a request from Constable Precinct 4 to add two positions to its law enforcement agreement with Tomball Independent School District. Constable Mark Herman's office already provides school resource officers to Tomball ISD campuses. The change would take effect July 25, 2026. Community members can sign up to speak at appearancerequest.harriscountytx.gov before the meeting.
Harris County may change how many law enforcement positions Constable Precinct 4 places at Tomball ISD campuses. Residents in that school district area could see a change in the number of officers assigned there.
