The Harris County Commissioners Court will consider approving a contract change between the Harris County Constable of Precinct 3 and Sheldon Independent School District. The amendment would add two deputy positions to provide law enforcement services at Sheldon ISD campuses, starting July 25, 2026. Sheldon ISD serves about 11,000 students across 13 campuses in northeast Harris County. The item is on the July 9, 2026 court agenda and was introduced June 17, 2026.
