WHAT IS THIS? This is a Harris County contract that provides medical care for police dogs working in our community. The county pays VCA Animal Hospitals $205,000 each year to keep K9 officers healthy and ready to serve. These working dogs help with drug detection, bomb detection, search and rescue, and public safety across Harris County.
