Tony's Place is a Houston nonprofit that helps LGBTQ+ young people ages 14–25 by offering a safe space, case management, meals, clothing, and other key services
Tony's Place is a Houston nonprofit dedicated to supporting and empowering LGBTQ+ youth between the ages of 14 and 25. It was opened in 2016 in loving memory of Robert Anthony 'Tony' Carroll, a community advocate who championed a safe drop-in center for young LGBTQ+ people. The organization provides a safe physical space in the Montrose neighborhood and offers a wide range of services including one-on-one case management, basic needs support (meals, clothing, hygiene), health and wellness programs, and community events. It serves youth who are homeless, unstably housed, or at risk, and operates under the umbrella of Homeless Gay Kids – Houston.
