Port Houston

Port Houston is the largest port in the United States by foreign waterborne tonnage and a major economic engine for the Houston region. The Port Commission, an elected body of seven members, governs operations, infrastructure investment, and environmental stewardship along the Houston Ship Channel. Commission meetings are open to the public and address trade, jobs, maritime safety, and community impact along the channel communities.
