The Manned Space Flight Education Foundation is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates Space Center Houston, the official visitor center of NASA's Johnson Space Center and a Smithsonian Affiliate. Open since 1992, it offers science learning programs and a space museum with hundreds of artifacts and immersive exhibits. It does not receive federal funds and welcomes more than a million visitors each year.
