The Houston Citizens' Police Academy Alumni Association brings graduates of the Houston Citizens' Police Academy together to strengthen the bond between neighbors and the police department. Formed in 1989, its members volunteer their own time to support the work of the Houston Police Department and help improve safety in their neighborhoods. It is part of the city's Volunteer Initiatives Program.
