Compassionate Houston Inc.

Compassionate Houston is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2011 by Rev. Betty Adam, dedicated to growing the compassionate culture of Greater Houston through awareness, education, community, and service. It operates as a collaborative network of partner organizations spanning nonprofits, faith communities, compassion-focused practice groups, and like-minded businesses. Entirely volunteer-driven, the organization runs programs such as Compassion Week, Project Kindness, Compassionate Integrity Training, and an annual Reflection Luncheon, and serves as Houston's chapter of the global Compassionate Cities Movement.
