The Community Garden Initiative of Central Texas is an Austin nonprofit that supports community gardening through garden tours, donations of seeds and plants to schools, funding, and meeting space for other nonprofits. It operates Sunshine Community Gardens, a roughly 3-acre site in north central Austin with over 200 plots, including wheelchair-accessible gardens, plots for the visually impaired, and micro plots for children.
