Good first step: Act El Franco Lee Senior/Community Center
Call or visit the El Franco Lee Community Center to ask about programs, registration, and how to reserve a room for your group.
The El Franco Lee Senior/Community Center on Hall Road is a Harris County Precinct One facility built on a legacy of service. It offers programs for youth, seniors, and neighbors of all ages — from exercise classes to enrichment activities, meeting space, and a peaceful Butterfly Garden.
The center offers two meeting rooms (each seats up to 20 people, available weekdays by reservation), an auditorium for evening event rentals, and an exercise room. Outside, you'll find a Butterfly Garden and walking trail. Exercise and enrichment programs run regularly, and some require registration ahead of time.
Call the center at (832) 927-2190 to ask about current programs, check your eligibility as a Precinct One resident, reserve a meeting room, or book the auditorium for an evening event. The staff can walk you through registration steps for any program that needs it.

If you're looking for other Precinct One programs — such as senior services, health resources, or youth activities — Harris County Precinct One (HCP1) runs additional community initiatives across the precinct. The center staff can point you toward other local resources that match your needs.
Commissioner El Franco Lee served Precinct One for 30 years, championing social services, education, recreation, and health support — especially for young people and seniors. This center carries that mission forward. It's a place to build skills, stay active, and connect with your neighbors.
