The El Franco Lee Senior/Community Center in Harris County Precinct One offers programs and activities for youth, seniors, and the broader community. Facilities include two meeting rooms (up to 20 people each, weekday reservations available), an auditorium for evening rentals, and an exercise room. The El Franco Lee Senior/Community Center is named after the late Harris County Commissioner El Franco Lee, who served Precinct One for 30 years. As commissioner, Lee expanded his role to provide social services, education, recreation, and health assistance for his constituents, especially youth and seniors.
To honor this legacy, this center offers a variety of activities and programs for our community, including a beautiful Butterfly Garden and trail. It is a great place to learn a new skill or meet new friends.
The center also offers meeting rooms and auditorium space for evening rentals.
The El Franco Lee Community Center provides the following facilities for use by Precinct One residents. Some of these facilities may be reserved for public use as noted below.
There are two meeting rooms at the El Franco Lee Community Center. Each room can seat 20 people comfortably. Meeting rooms are only available on weekdays. Both may be reserved at the same time. Follow the reservation link for more information.
