Empower Houston — Free Financial Literacy Workshops

Overview

Empower Houston offers free financial literacy workshops throughout Houston neighborhoods. Topics include budgeting, building credit, avoiding predatory lending, saving for emergencies, and understanding taxes. Workshops are offered in English and Spanish. Sessions run on a rolling schedule at community centers across the city. No sign-up fee. These workshops are designed for Houstonians who want to take control of their financial lives regardless of where they are starting from financially.
