Overview
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston runs after-school programs at 26 locations across our city. These programs welcome kids and teens into safe spaces every day when school ends. Members join activities in academics, arts, fitness, and leadership development. Our community has built these clubs to give young people places to grow and thrive. The clubs matter because many Houston families need safe, affordable care for their children after school. When kids have positive places to go, our neighborhoods become stronger. These programs help students with homework, teach new skills, and build friendships. Members learn leadership through community service projects and mentoring younger kids. The clubs serve all parts of Houston, from downtown to the suburbs. Each location offers hot meals, computer labs, and gym time. Staff members are trained youth development professionals who know how to support kids. Parents can work knowing their children are in caring hands. The programs run Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 8 PM during the school year. Summer programs run full-time. To get your child involved, visit any club location or call their main office. Most programs are free or low-cost. Transportation is often provided from nearby schools. Our young people deserve these opportunities to succeed.
