Rice University is excited to welcome the Class of 2030 and their families to our New Student Social (

) in Minnesota! Celebrate the start of your Rice journey by connecting with fellow incoming Owls, their families and local alumni while learning more about student life in Houston and what to expect at Rice. This is a great opportunity for both students and parents to build connections and feel prepared for the transition to campus. Socials are smaller, volunteer-hosted gatherings, while Send-Offs are larger Rice-hosted events with university representatives.Date:Sunday, July 19Time: 4-6 p.m.Location:Home of Dr. Mimi Cho-Rohlfsen '93 and Michael Rohlfsen (Parents '24, '30) Minneapolis, Minnesota Address will be sent to registrants.
