It seeks to combine work in deliberative engagement (the focus of the CPD) with\n\n•draws insights from multiple fields: journalism, conflict management, deliberation, social psychology, public policy, collaboration, etc.\n\n•honors both democracy and expertise while striving to serve as a trusted impartial resource\n\n•recognizes that simply providing quality information is not
