Boise State University created the Pathways Project to provide free language learning materials for teachers and students. The project offers conversation activities, textbooks, and teaching resources for languages like Arabic and French. These materials are designed for beginner and intermediate learners and cover topics like greetings, daily routines, health, food, and culture.
Teachers can use these activities as-is or change them to fit their classrooms. The project includes over 28 Arabic speaking activities and nearly 100 French conversation exercises. There's also a free intermediate Arabic textbook written by a student who studied Arabic for six years.
All materials are available online for free and are designed to help students connect with different cultures around the world. The project serves K-12 and college language teachers across Idaho, but the resources can be used anywhere.
